Creamy Tomato Basil Pasta

Ingredients

• 400 g penne pasta
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 400 g crushed tomatoes
• 0.5 cup heavy cream
• 0.5 cup fresh basil leaves
• 0.5 cup parmesan cheese, grated
• 1 to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

1. 1Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
2. 2In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
