Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef chuck
- 4 potatoes
- 4 carrots
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup red wine
Instructions
- 1Brown beef cubes in batches, set aside.
- 2Sauté onions, add tomato paste and wine.
- 3Add broth, beef, and herbs. Simmer 2 hours.
- 4Add potatoes and carrots, cook 45 more minutes.
- 5Season to taste, serve with crusty bread.
