Classic American apple pie with a flaky butter crust. Just like grandma used to make.

Make pie dough: cut cold butter into flour, add ice water.
Chill dough for 1 hour minimum.
Slice apples, toss with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon.
Roll out crusts, fill with apples, add top crust and crimp.
Bake at 375°F for 50-55 minutes until golden.
